Contribute to Next-Gen Diagnostic Imaging and Earn €300
iThera Medical is looking for 15 physicians in the greater Munich area to be involved in a usability study for an optoacoustic medical imaging system. Previous experience with ultrasound imaging is required.

About Optoacoustic Imaging:
- Optoacoustic imaging (OAI) uses pulsed laser light to generate acoustic signals (“light in, sound out”).
- OAI visualizes and quantifies the concentration of tissue molecules such as hemoglobin, collagen, lipids, melanin, and water.
In initial clinical trails, OAI has shown clinical utility across a wide range of indications, including various types of cancer, cardiovascular, inflammatory, fibrotic and metabolic disease.

Why participate?
- You will be reimbursed €300 for your time.

If you refer a colleague that participates in the study you will be reimbursed €100
(in case there is more than one referrer for a participant, only the first referrer will receive the reimbursement).
Who can participate?
- You are able to commit to 1 day of training and study participation.
- You are in at least the second year of a clinical residency program including training in ultrasonography.
When and where will the study be?
- The study site is in Munich, about 20 minutes away from Hauptbahnhof. Address: Zielstattstrasse 13, 81379 Munich, Germany.
- The study will begin September 16th to September 27th, 2024.
- Each participant will be scheduled to be on-site for one day including 3 hours of training and 2 hours of study participation with a 1 hour break.
- The following time slots available are:
- Training 9:00-12:00; Testing 13:00-15:00
- Training 12:00-15:00; Testing 16:00-18:00

INFO: Not everyone who fills out this form will be able to participate in the study as the number of spots is limited and participants may undergo additional screening. Only those who participate to the end of their scheduled study day will be reimbursed.
