iThera Medical offers access to innovative technology and know-how in photonic molecular imaging. The company was founded in 2010, as a spin-off from the Helmholtz Zentrum Muenchen, the German Research Center for Environmental Health (HMGU). Together, we pursue the further development of proprietary MSOT technology for use in preclinical and clinical applications.

 

To achieve this, iThera Medical has assembled a team with significant expertise in the areas of healthcare and medical technology as well as in engineering development. Before joining iThera Medical, the CEO of iThera Medical, Christian Wiest, spent many years with McKinsey & Co., the leading top-management consulting company, and GE Healthcare, the global leader in medical technology.
